Finally! I finally understand how the lighting to capture this works!

This was taken at 400mm, f/11, ISO 400, 1/1000.

Now... need to do this with a tripod (since I've been away from home this past weekend since a couple of friends of mine were here in Northern California to visit from Southern California). Not the sharpest of pictures, but I plan on revisiting this next month when the moon comes back!

Awful SOOC, but the only shots taken on this day. But, at least I'm putting more color and not desaturating my shots... even though I want to. :P

Definitely need to get back into being creative, doing SPs, or at least learn how to take shots when the sun plays peek-a-boo with the clouds >_<

Couldn't walk out and take SOOC or close to SOOC shots.

So, what did I do instead? Stand behind the door like an idiot and play with DOF for lunch. :(

I'm still in my phase of just doing SOOC shots and explaining what I'm seeing/doing everyday until I can get the creative juices going again.

I'm trying to evaluate where I want to go with this project that I'm behind on. Do I want to monitor my growth as a person? Do I want to use this as a blog; a photo diary of sorts? Do I want to explore my creativity (or lack of)? Do I want to grow as a photographer? Or a combination?

Anyways, I'm aiming March to answer this.

In the mean time, thank you all that haven't deserted me! I have left a mark so I know where I left off, and I "PROMISE" to get back to your pictures, whether or not you have given up on me! :)

This SOOC shot was taken while I was going for a walk. I know it's no longer CYN, but this caught my eye. I didn't pick it up, but I do wonder if there's anything left inside. :P
