I'm not sure - I called the coastguard when
I first saw what was going on and they were
already monitoring it and they said dolphins
do seem to come to shore to die. It looked
young and healthy though but it didnt want to
go back in and as the coastguard tried to get
it further out, it didnt seem to have the
strength to get going and was being washed
into the beach. It was wrapped in a blanket and taken away so
hopefully it's in an RSPCA bathtub somewhere
getting treatment.

Can't believe I missed all this - I was in Cleveleys at lunchtime, and it's the first time all week I've not walked up to the promenade!

Just been on Radio Lancashire and some of the snaps are in the LEP tonight. Fame at last......
