   Reduced to the bare architectural elements that make up a face, like some sunbaked desert monument -- in that context, the splash of red is a shock & very effective.

   Am I too timid? I'm shocked, and repelled as well as being strangely attracted. I wonder what made you want to do this set, and how you get away with showing it off in civilized society and this decade.

   With the exception of willwade's all the avatars of the commenters show women. Those of you who have praised this set or like it, I am curious about what attracts you to this type of image.

   Oh, just in case it´s not obvious, this series is about smeared makeup, not blood or anything like that.

   When I did it I imagined this girl as someone who´s been upset, crying / trying to wipe her mouth and face.
