HDR Time Lapse

Newer Older

HDR Time Lapse made from 500 exp, 100 HDRs. Put together in Photolapse with 20 fps.

Flickr really messed up the quality in this one. I`m not sure what I can do to get a better result. Tips are appreciated.

I think, a single foto works better than a video. But this is great.
    Respect to this work!

Despite bad quality it's good work! Wow! A little out of horizontal level though. Would have been even better if it was straight. Still, this is a FAV.

I use Nikon D300 which you can program to shoot intervals. I processed all the hdrs as a batch in photomatix.

This is very interesting! How do you edit your HDR video? My guess is that you use some kind of post processing program, like Combustion, and then do several passes of sequences of HDR image files. Afterwards I assume you then then put in mattes in Combustion, and then render the perfected result. Am I close, or do you use a better technique?

Obvious mattes here would be one for the sky, another for the ocean, and perhaps a third - a travelling, or motion controlled, matte for the sun and its flare.
