Update: Got snes9x working! Wasn't especially hard, simply installed with apt-get, and used snes9express for gui frontend. If you want a sixaxis to work (with usb, wireless isn't supported yet), grab the configfile in this forum thread: HowTo: SNES Emulator

Now you dont need to install ubuntu on each pc you have.
bkz you can run ubuntu from your usb falsh drive.
