   Faith and Buffy are so much bigger than Maggie. I wonder how much more they'll grow. They will be a year in mid-January.

   Lisa: my coworker has 2 Pyrs and a Mastiff at her ranch. Guess on Sunday her one Pyr ( that has previously had hip surgery) was attacked by 2 coyotes . Was quite scratched up and teeth punctures around her back end. Luckily they have such a thick undercoat they were not able to get her hamstrings to disable her and she was close enough to the house that the other two dogs saved her. Lucky dog and all I could think of is how Maggie killed a coyote earlier this fall! Perhaps the coyotes could detect the weakness. Luckily she was closer to the house. Dang coyotes. We have them out at the natural reserve where we walk but I keep Ole on leash when it is dark out.
