Walking in the Mist
This was a lucky moment - a Saturday evening, we'd been out to Windsor in the daytime and were driving back into London passing Richmond at dusk. I'd seen a mist forming on the way in - one of those low down thin mists that look spooky. Then, just as the sky started to colour we passed this huge Oak in Marble Hill Park. I pulled over jumped out and took some pictures of the folk in the mid distance walking their dogs and doing their park stuff. It was the weather that made this shot. I did a little fiddling in photoshop at the top of the frame, some subtle gradiant work, but the rest is as it was - I was just there to snap it!

Ligth is perfect, colors are great. But I think the part that makes the picture extra special is the person under the tree. Very cool picture.

A stunning sunset. The person in the distance standing amidst the low midst really gives the oak a sense of scale.
As the oak is such British icon, would you please tag it "icon" and post it to: www.flickr.com/groups/iconicironic/ where iconic images are recognised.
