      Nice, i'm a big fan of dead trees. I'm assuming the moon and the tree were shot w/ two different exposures and combined together? (heh nm, noticed the word composite on the tags) =)

      Ah... ye old burmis tree! Not sure if you knew the reason for the pole holding the limb up... but a few years ago it was vandalized by kids from the area... sad really considering it is such an icon of the pass and area, and perhaps one of the most photographed pieces of history in the area. Some of the oldest trees next to the bristlecones in California. Wonderful composite.
