Actually it probably wouldn't shock you. Mythbusters did something similar -- urinating on the electrical rail for subways. Current didn't travel up the stream. Mainly because it's not a straight stream-- its really a bunch of droplets that are sometimes close together.
I bet you guys didn't really want to know that, though... :)

A man was killed at a busy railway station when he reportedly urinated on the track.
British Transport Police confirmed the 41-year-old was electrocuted at Vauxhall station in south London last week.
He walked on to the track from Platform 1, a BTP spokesman said.
According to reports, the Polish tourist went to find somewhere discreet to go to the toilet but his urine splashed on to the live rail.

Ok I went by here today and talked to the resident artist of this building. Turns out the artist installed the toilet on there (no duh), and if you did pee on the toilet, nothing would happen except that the toilet will leak and you'd get wet.
this is the original toilet that the shipyard used to use until it began to dismantle a couple of years ago for redevelopment. there's another toilet inside, too, although that one isn't as shocking...
