I'll fix my numbering another day, when I have time to sift through my stream. Today is not that day.

Claire was invited to her first birthday party, and we went today. She had lots of fun with all the other girls, and I had lots of fun photographing this beautiful pink dogwood in the front yard!

    Oh wow - this is all sorts of gorgeous. Happy 100. Glad someone celebrated with a party (hee hee). That's awesome that Claire managed to handle it solo (that took a lot of party training with my gal).

    Oh, she didn't handle it solo. Not at all. I took this picture while we were outside doing a treasure hunt. I had to be within arm's reach at all times, and she kept coming over and saying, "Mommy? Um... I love you." She was nervous. At the end she was doing ok, but for the first hour and a half she had a tough time getting into it.
