Woman selling hats (and bags, and shirts and skirts and toys) on the beach in St. Maarten . The weather there is incredible but it's a hard life selling to a revolving door of tourists. She looked none too happy and who can blame her.

Catch of the Day!

Didn't your mother ever tell you not to eat anything bigger than your head? I watched this heron for a good fifteen minutes as he pranced up and down with his catch. Once in awhile he dunked it into the water, and changed positions, but I had my doubts he was going to be able to swallow it. Eventually he flew off with it. Check it out in the Lightbox.
