      Dear Ms. Laura,

How do you get such a white surface and background. I know you are Captain Super Photogratrix. It must be the talent mojo you got going on over there.

      Thank you,

      Emi-Lily

I laid the hank of yarn on a large piece of white fabric draped under and behind the yarn. I did this in my back yard in the shade, but there are also lightboxes you can purchase or lighting set-ups you can do yourself to take indoors pictures. I do plan to do this; just haven't bought the materials yet. (Note: I do understand that buying the right light bulb, from a photo manufacturer, is important).
