Bench Monday - The "I Want To, But I Just Don't Have the Energy
to Move" Edition
(aka I'll be Back Next Week)
Well hello there November. I've never been happier to see you. Last week kicked everything out of me - it was seven days of non-stop stress, timelines and to-do lists that had me on the move from the moment I woke until I passed out at the end of the day. And last night when I went to bed, it had all gotten done and I crashed hard. So today my friends...it's going to be me curled up in this chair, by the sunniest window I've got going. A large pot of coffee brewed, a book to start, some knitting (maybe) and all of the peanut butter cups and Mars bars I can managed to find in those bags of chocolate that that my people collected for me (what do you mean it's not for me?). But first things first - catching up on all of the streams that I didn't get a chance to properly comment on last week.
It all adds up to a big Monday smile.

"my people collected for me" -- this made me smile ... and made me a little sad; no candy bags to cull through for my Reese's Cups this year. *heavy sigh*

Now THIS is a "benched" Monday to cherish! Good for you, what a perfect way to unwind! Except for the work you went to getting this shot set up so neatly :-)
I'm with pixelmama, miss the days when "other people" collected a nice variety of candy. Now, I simply have to way over-estimate how many goblins will come to the door... and purchase too many chocolate thingy variety packs.
But back to your feet, I plan to come back to this throughout the day, when I need a break :-) Such a cute idea. HBM
