USS Missouri
The Missouri was one of the battleships that survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was also the last active battleship and was used in Desert Storm.

In Memoriam
We dropped flowers from our leis into the waters over the Arizona. It was beautiful and a ton of people took our pictures while we were doing it.

A moorhen
There were only 500 of these birds on the island and only 8 on the premises of this park. It was rare to see one, but we got to!

A sea turtle! Or honu (hoe-new)
We didn't see one on the shore until we went back to Turtle Bay a second time. Glad we did.
