JUST ONE MORE STOP

JUST ONE MORE STOP

On the way home from a shoot in Erieau we made a detour around Erie Beach. Checked out the beach there and decided to get a few more captures. There was just a touch of snow here compared to Erieau. Cleveland was well lit up this night. f 4 ISO 200 3 minutes under near full moon.

GO AHEAD GUESS!!!

That's right I was at the pier last night, again, watching the moon rise. Just can't pull me away from there on a full moon...2 minutes f5.6 100 ISO

GONE FISHING

GONE FISHING

Went down to Erieau last night to get in some moonshine time. The moon was at 84 percent and was very high in the sky. Went over to the fishing tug marina and snapped a few. The yard lights cast some strange glows on the docks but the moon really lit up the white boats. There were lights on in the far boat so I am assuming they have been out to do some netting. This is the first time in a long time that Lake Erie is not frozen solid on the first week of February that I can remember..

FISH EYE MOONSET

FISH EYE MOONSET

Well finally, a clear night in 2012. Went out for a moonset tonight, not too cold just +1c, no ice on the lake yet. This weather we're having is very strange. Set this up for a 30 minute shot but after just 24 minutes the cresent moon disapeared behind a cloud. No sense in waiting any longer. The plane traffic was very busy tonight too... f3.5 ISO 100 from the pier in Erieau.

TALLAHATCHIE BRIDGE

TALLAHATCHIE BRIDGE

OK so it's not the Tallahatchie Bridge, but it definately has the muddy waters..Taken at our favorite spot on Lake Erie, but this time facing north, back into the land instead of out over the Lake. A bit of a breeze this night as seen in the tops of the trees....
