2012 calendar, November - Eiffel Tower, all lit up

Kevin and I went to Paris for our first wedding anniversary! On our last full night there, we visited the Eiffel Tower with a view to going up to the top. As it turned out, the visibility at the top was apparently pretty poor, according to the signs at the entrances, so we went to the second level. Didn't miss out, really, Paris is just as gorgeous at the second level as at the top ;^)

On every hour at night - at least the sociable hours, I can't speak to past 11pm - the Tower is all lit up with flashing bulbs, I'd guess for about ten minutes. It's a stunning sight. And the reflections of the lights are visible for a good length down the Seine.
