Since I have been studying photography at Pratt, my views of photographs have truly changed. I have strongly gravitated toward film, because of the purity and honesty it holds. I believe this is what has been keeping me from uploading. As I look at my old photographs, it is as if looking at an old person--someone who was forever in one place, living in endless circles. I now feel a new sense inside of me that gives me the desire to be free and explore more than ever.

I truly feel like my photographic style is changing a bit, and I really hope that you can still locate the beauty and despair in the feelings it brings to you.

Since I have been attending Pratt, I have been working with only film photographs (which is why I have not been uploading.. oh no!) and I am really falling in love with film. It just feels so personal.

I just found out how to use a negative scanner, so now I can upload my newer photographs to Flickr as I go. I have only been working with black and white, but I am sure there will be color images to come :)

This is last group of pictures that I took before moving to Brooklyn, NY for Pratt. These were taken on an isolated piece of land near the woods, where two trucks, which seemed to be hallowed out by fire or explosion, were hidden.
