Got a few fun shots of both kiddos on Saturday, but I loved this one of Kate...the light was great, her expression was natural, and the exposure and focus were on. I love days like this when I come away with a great documentary set, but also one or two real keepers.

Took the kids up to Snoqualmie yesterday for a few hours of playing in the snow. They had a blast and the afternoon sky was like a giant soft box. Lots of fun for everyone.

We're back home now, one more day off before it's back to the grind. Thanks to all the folks who took some time out of their holiday week to get together with us. It was a great trip. :)

Had the great pleasure of reconnecting with Katya Palladina and Nicolas Bouvier for a morning outing today near Snoqualmie. There was some nice color for about 3 minutes as the sun peeked over the cascades and lit up a thin layer of cirrus vapors. And then it was gone.

Thanks again, Katya and Nic. It's always such a nice time meeting up with both of you.
