Kamakazie

    Another forgotten picture on the hard drive. Something cheery as its cold ,dark and wet (rain is good) and Im not getting a lot of bugs to take photos of at the moment

      Thanks for the comments and invites. Atteuk thank you for the suggestion. I am still learning my manual settings on the camera, so can you help me out and give me a suggested aperture setting for this. I am still having trouble working it out as these little guys are so quick and I just set it and click away :-)Thanks

      I love the colors and the Kamakazie. I like the DOF as it is here. The blurred flower really makes the sharpness of the bee stand out.

      But for a wider DOF try a higher numbered aperture. I do my bee shots at f/5 to f/7 in aperture priority (Av) mode. Its much simpler than full manual mode. My camera can go up to f/8, but it looses too much sharpness. You just have to experiment to see what your camera can do well.
