-- A magical walk in the Vigeland Sculpture Park, looking at the bronze and granite sculptures (created by the great norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland) beautifully covered by the snow and the ice of the late december season. Oslo, Norway. --

    this sculpture is in a corner of the park that is slightly hidden: you have to follow a path that go down near the little lake, and you will find a small round area with the benches and a lot of baby sculptures... : )
    i went there to picture the ducks and i had a nice surprise! : ))

    Wow, this one is seriously stunning. The tonal range, the framing, the detail, the texture, I'm in awe.
    I particularly like how the hedges and benches seem to embrace the statue in front, which is looking at something beyond the frame, while the other statue crawls away from it all.

    I usually don't fall for 'cutesy' babies, cats, dogs and such ... but the cold atmosphere compensates the cuteness nicely.
