sad little teddy is weary with woe

After all, he was viewed umpteen gazillion times over the last week. It quite takes it out of a bear. It's his second week as the mascot for sad bokeh friday, too, and that sort of burden can rest heavy on soft, bean-filled shoulders.

    Yet woeier.

Awww poor little teddy. He should feel happy; he's been upped. Unlike some poor little creatures who wait and wait and wait their turn.

Won't somebody think of those poor little yellowy creatures who stood so very still for their portraits?

Oh teddy I shall take care of you. Snuggle with me and we shall sleep away the weekend.

    15. sleepy jeanne (34 months ago | reply)

Is it wrong that I revel in his sadness?
I expect poor teddy will be positively downtrodden come next Friday... oh, the anticipation ;-)

    16. harold.lloyd (34 months ago | reply)

Ooooh, a soft toy sadist. I like it. I shall see what travails I can find for poor sad little teddy over the next week.

    17. likethebirds (34 months ago | reply)

He should be on his nose and sleeping by next week.

Wait, isn't there some sort of teddy labor law that would require he be given a vacation or at least be paid overtime for all his Flickr duties? I think I may have to report this to the SPCSA - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Stuffed Aminals.

Won't someone think of the [bokeh] teddy?

Great composition and really nice DoF as the Bokeh provides a nice surrounding to this amazing shot. Simple and impressive.

Oh, sad little teddy. I would pat-pat you but I'm afeared that might knock you off your table or shelf or whatever you were set on, and onto the floor.

    24. Noel*B (34 months ago | reply)

Teddy here looks weary and also hungry....Feed more Bokeh!

    25. harold.lloyd (34 months ago | reply)

He's on the step that leads out into the garden of bokeh, wearily trying to haul his little beany self back inside. Mebbe he wanted to avoid the squirrels. Or take himself back upstairs where his owner was yelling that he couldn't find teddy.

Great compo, lovely tones and lighting!!!
      Have a great weekend.

It's too bad that the photographer seems to adhere to the National Geographic Rules of Not Interfering with the subject and can't help poor wee teddy who is obviously suffering immensely. Not to mention the struggling little person in the house who is panicking about their lost friend.

He's mostly accompanied by three much bigger dogs. Bear was only recently adopted by them. He often gets rather smooshed between them and - I would guess - slobbered on a lot but seems to accept his place in the bunch.
