No, not fireworks

No, these lights are not fireworks!

They are part of Christmas decoration on the main square in Ljubljana, taken with a varying zoom (exposure 1/5s, tripod, manually varied zoom).

If you look closely, you can see that the yellow are 'normal' lights (continuous, constant) and the blue are LEDs (actually flashing and thus appearing as a dotted line).

Guess the motive, I guess

Christmas decorations in Ljubljana, taken with a varying zoom (exposure 1/5s, manually varying zoom, slightly shaken despite a tripod).

As much as I love the individual pieces of the 'installation', I think that altogether it appears a bit messy. Too many ideas. Oh well...

In loving memory of my Mom

After my Mom's funeral I returned to the grave, 'stole' some of the wonderful flowers and spent several hours photographing them.
