P.S 21/11/09 -- This was the start of the rain that was to result in
the heaviest rainfall ever recorded in England (over 300mm in 24h)
which resulted in the horrendous flood damage in the area -
particularly Cockermouth and Workington - where a Policeman lost his
life doing his duty by saving others - but being victim of a bridge
collapse
