#38 - Snowflakes

The flakes today are big & fluffy & you can see all the amazing detail. This was a lot harder to photograph than I had hoped.

Great picture...you do have to be fast to photograph a snow flake.

actually this didn't take speed at all, I just let the flakes fall on my black shovel & photographed them laying there.

Martin - The largest snow flake was maybe 1/8th of an inch. Love my new camera.

Seriously! That's a real snowflake? I thought it was an etching on glass when I saw the thumbnail.

your snowflake shot turned out much better than mine!
what did you use as a background?

    33. katbaro (52 months ago | reply)

walla2chick - I just used the macro setting on my point & shoot

Itscarmamel - the background is just my black snow shovel. it was quite sunny so there is a lot of light on it.
