Summer Thunder Shower Approaching - Co. Tipperary
Photography by Kevin A. Logan - WindowsToIreland.com
A strong looking (and proven to BE strong) summer thunder shower was approaching from the west. At the time I was on my motorbike heading home from Clare. When I saw the ominous looking sky in my mirrors (I was heading East), I pulled off the road to seek shelter. Then I saw the cows in the pasture, west (right) of the railway tracks. Suddenly, and fairly quickly, they all moved off heading away from the approaching storm. Unique this this (as the cows headed for the barn - I suppose) was that this was the first time I have seen cows need to use a tunnel going under railway tracks.
