Boolaboys ♂
They shared home and wheel (as well as dined) harmoniously together
for more than two years (24 months and 10 days). I have to separate
them because
Big brother got sick.
Each lived for another ~ five (5) months after I separated them.
• Berio II ♂ (05 Mar 2007 – 10 Aug 2009)
• Bebong II ♂ (05 Mar 2007 – 13 Aug 2009)
Little brother was the first one to perish. Both of old age.

Hi, Klara!
I observed that most hamsters tend to be uneasy the first few moments they are introduced in a place other than their own. You know it – the groomin’ frenzy and sometimes the rubbing of flanks to deposit their scent. (lols)
I also found out that these brothers never squabble over food or nesting place they both share, but are likely to freak each other out over a NEW territory when they are BOTH upset. – A fight won’t start if ONLY ONE of them is uneasy, because the other one just IGNORES him. :-)
So to avoid any possibility of fighting, I don’t put them together in another place at the same time... One first – after he ‘cools down’, the other one follows... Soon they will share the ‘new place’ like the way they do with their home.
