Bedes World medieval fair came around again at the weekend and after hardly even touching my camera for a month I thought it might be an idea to get out whilst the sun was shining and see what was around. As in last years event there was a falconry display and this chap was sitting watching everyone watching him.

Unfortunately because of where his perch was the backgrounds aren't great, I could only get an angle that showed him against people thankfully they've blown out nicely and aren't wearing too garish a colour. Except for a couple of photos where I took where a kid was wearing a nice bright pink jacket and its so far proving too difficuly to edit out.

I couldn't decide between the two photos so I thought I'd just put them both up instead.

I'm trying to improve my landscape photography this year and in an effort to do that I visited Bamburgh a couple of weeks ago.

Another from my recent trip to Seahouses, a fishing boat was up on the dockside for repairs and painting. This bracket on the back of the bold holds the rudder in place and looks like its seen better days, wouldn't like to be caught at see if it gives way.

t'd probably be better if I could get rid of the blue & white paint at the edges of the bracket so I might attempt another edit when I get some more time but it might be a touch awkward to do.

I've done a colour edit to go with the black and white I did a few days ago.
