What do you think? ^_^ I still love her but I've 3 more in my personal collection and I decided to sell this one. I think she's beautiful :) and this is one of the best pictures I did with Hawaiian, is'nt?! :))))

thank you for your nice post on my photostream and I'm sorry but unfortunately I delete it instead answer you!!! so I'm writing you here: I really appreciate your comment and your suggestion and in my opinion the doll is in good condition. Honestly I don't think that the price is big ... also because it is absolutely in line if compared with other completed auction for the same doll on ebay. Please see this auction ended few weeks ago:

The doll was sold a 135$ but she was very played with (also her hand and legs were not in good conditions, absolutely played and maybe hairs were cut ...) and she was without accessories that are very rare ... and no more fashions were added. More and over, all accessories are in good condition and very rare and the starting price of the auction was in line with market price, so with other completed auctions.
I don't know, if someone may desire to find an hawaiian played for 5 euro ... me toooooo!!! but it is one of my best wishes! :DDD maybe one day in a garage sale... ;)
I like and I use flickr to sharing pics of my dolls and, just sometimes (not every day as other users!!!) I add pics of one or two of my dolls on sale (usually i'm not seller, just a collector very loved of his collection ^_^) but my target is alwais to have a good pictures on my photostreeam and comments from flickers. In any case.
BTW, for all people that may are interested in the doll, I've many more pics of her hand, legs and hair that, in my opionion, are not been cut ... but if you think that, maybe you have reason!!! You are the queen of the insolit beautiful dolls with strange/inusual hair color :)

Thank's! :) I think you're talking about the Italian doll from the DOTW ... she's nice but I absolutely prefer the Hawaiian from 1978. Her mold is superstar but the makeup, with turquoise eyeshadow on brown/light brown eye is so stunning :) skin care is quite tanned but I prefer this one rather than for ex. malibu version ...

i think that a lot of people would pay that much or more for her. i would love to bid if i could but i have too many of my children's and family birthdays coming up in a few weeks. all of her accessories are so hard to find and are included. i think people in Europe may find this doll more easily than us here in the states. therefore she is just not that valuable in this condition to you. but to me shes perfect and i would just change her body if i got her. all superstar barbies are beautiful and sometimes need a little love. {{hugs}}

i would pay 60euro, and put a new original taiwan body and she is perfect , bothers me the hair is cut!! you can not repair only reroot and she is not more original..very sad

as I told you, I appreciate all kind of comments in my pictures and dolls but sometimes, opionions about conditions of mib dolls are just a little bet different :) (30 euro value ahahahahah) there are a lot of people on ebay who sell FAKE superstar barbie...with rerooted hairs, fake jewels (with colored stones!!!!), home made outfit or counterfeit box!!! This doll is 100%...used and played, but 100% original. And not all doll like this are original... as you told us, people like to change body, hairs and much more!!!
Anyway, thank you for all opinion and suggestion you want to left and thank you also because you canged and edit your first comment about my carachter and I really appreciate that! :)
Woooowwww!!! your hawaiian doll have a very very extra long hair!!! if, as I think, you are absolutely sure that reroot is not possibile in this case (it seams absolutey like that!!!), you maybe have a stunnign and super extra rare special version or someting like that...

Oh yes, it's true!
In europe is quite easy to find this doll ... she's not common but sometime you can find her in a garage sale or similar, specially on ebay. The most difficult is to find her nrfb or with all accessories. I don't know if in canada it's the same ...
So I can immagine that for a superstar era collector from USA or Mexico or Australia she's a dream :))))

i buy for 6 monts this nice hawaiian superstar barbie and i find she have aso so long hair ,she is 100%nrfb and never out. It has extreme curls,I think without curls it is over the butt i want sold the lose next time on ebay! I'm sure her hair is 100% original not reroot

GUYS BE CAREFUL .... unfortunately this doll was STOLEN
It's so sad.
Be careful whit that: some days ago on ebay.co.uk someone was selling all accessories that I sent with the doll. I
Barbiestar who now is no more flcikr user won her on ebay. I sent the doll with registered mail on may,2 and doll was delivered on may,7 (as per my many copies of delivery confirmation) but, as per buyer declaration, the doll never arrived to her home. I don't think so .... then please be careful with this doll on ebay or similar.

Of course, I used registered mail, with tracking code and delivery confirmation (i've a copy of all). Paypal close the claim totally in my favour but buyer was so very uncorrect and she open, immediately after the paypal conclusion, a second claim, with ebay.co.uk (not .com!!!) to have a double refound. I thought it was not possible to have a double refound and instead, unfortunately, it is possible.

She's a stunner... I bought one used, on ebay with her hair in pretty bad shape for almost 140 Euros, last summer. She has had her hair revamped, and a new body, and I absolutelly love her =) I couldn't immagine on letting her go... (unless, like you I had 3 more of course *lol*)

you picture is fantastic! Hawaiian superstar is actually one of the most beautiful superstar and each one is different from the other. I really can't understand why, but all my hawaiian have something different from the other ... sometimes hair are soft and curly, other times the makeup is strong ... :))))

Hi everybody, I'm writing from Croatia. I can't believe that this beautiful Barbie Hawaiian still exists somewhere in the world! :-) I'm so happy to see it at least here, but I wonder where I could possibly find it and buy. Long time ago, when I was little girl, my Dad brought me one from America. At first I wasn't so happy because I had expected a blond one. Later, I fell in love with this one, but unfortunately I damaged it and lost forever. Now, if I saw it somewhere, I would buy it immediately, at least the remake! :-)
I went this evening to see the exhibition "Barbie and Lego" world, it is in my born town (Varaždin,Croatia) until Sunday. I didn't see this Hawaiian beauty among all those beautiful dolls, although the first dolls weren't as beautiful as they were later. Very interesting exhibition. Could anybody help me? Thanks very much! :-)

Hi :) thank you for your nice comment!!! the exhibition you 're talking about sounds very interesting...did you may have some pics?! You have reason, actually the hawaiian superstar is one of the most loved barbie in the world: each collector dream to have al least one of them in their collection!!!
Regarding the hawaiian, unfortunately at the moment I have not one on sale: if I will may decide to sell one of my others hawaiian I'll contact you for sure ... anyway, in Europe you can find her, specially on ebay. Be careful because there's a lot of fake, a reroot or repaint ... very very expensive and only partial original.

That makes me smile....can you imagine that last Sunday I found an Hawaiian Superstar for...4 euros that means around 3 dollars !
Of course the doll is far from perfect but I'm going to have it rerooted and then with an great outfit it would be wonderful !!
I put a photo on it in my gallery !!
