Stanton Hall -6093

Constructed in 1857 by Irish Immigrant Frederick Stanton, Stanton Hall is a beautiful Greek Revival mansion located in the heart of Natchez. The 14000 plus sq. ft. home cost $ 83,000 to build excluding the cost of furnishings. Lavishly furnished, the home boasts fireplaces and mantels of imported black and gold colored marble. Gigantic brass mirrors reach from the floor to the ceilings and are illuminated by gothic style gasolier chandeliers. Beautiful rugs and intricately carved furniture fill the spacious rooms. Stanton Hall is a rare example of the homes that still exemplify the “Old South”
