The composition of this Photograph is amongst
Your best, and that takes some saying
considering the amount of top grade images
that You upload to "Flickr". = The Colour contrast of the Russet in the
foreground and the White of the dusting of
Snow on the Mountain Peaks is a reat device -
YET what realy lifts this one is the swathe
of green through the centre of the image
complete with a couple of White Cottages. = Good stuff by anybody's standards !!!
realy stunning!!!! the colours, light and
place are so beauitful!!! Your work is so
great!
Thankyou for the flower carpet..they normanly
have the flower carpet in Christ Church
Cathedral..like it was last year when the
deadly earthquake hit..not such a good time
for us now as it is one year ago tomorrow,
Feb 22, it hit!
o0o the light on the mountains is so lovely it changes the whole look of the mountains along with the shadows lower because of it being winter ... it makes this a superb picture ...oOo

Wow that makes it look huge, partly due to the snow but mainly the POV.

Im sure Hindscarth would have something to say about that.

A beauty. The scatter of buildings makes it almost homely

If you've never been to the Newlands Valley, and even if you have, I highly recommend looking round this at the largest size - it's wonderful.
