This high alpine plateau is a paradise to wander around, with a backdrop of spectacular mountains. The day was hot and sunny, so not great for photographs so I concentrated on the feel of the meadows with the mountains rising sheer from the green.
This photo was taken on August 23, 2011 in Santa Cristina, Trentino-Alto Adige, IT, using a Nikon D300.
