Blue sky and countryside's photostream  

My OH and myself have spent the majority of the last week going up and down a ladder stripping off wallpaper, washing the walls, and now painting them. My arms feel very long and tired, just like those of a gorilla!!

Consequently my camera has been having a short rest, but here's a photo taken last summer.

The pretty garden of a cottage (gite) that we stayed at several years ago. The very clever French owners resurrected the gites from their tumbledown state, and had made them really comfortable and attractive.

There were three gites in their 2 acre garden which had lots of cherry, apricot and apple trees too.

....to all of the love birds in the world....

I took this photo at Twycross Zoo a few years ago.

Some areas look beautiful on a bright summers day, other places look attractive on a glowing autumn day, but some are lucky enough to catch the eye in all weathers.

...and enjoying a little bit of winter sunshine on our garden fence.
