Winter-Wood-2
Less than a mile from my home, this wood provides endless opportunities for leisure and art. It's full of life and natural wonders, if only one has time to stop and see. I wanted to present this image as a winter scene with some degree of mystery. And yes..it needs a figure in the distance but after composing the shot and waiting an hour with no sign of human life, I clicked and went home to thaw out.

The perfect winter walkway! Do I detect that you may elong to a camera club? I only ask because of the person comment, in judging pound to a penny if you had one in it would be as wrong and not having one....judges, there's just no pleasing them sometimes.

Nope, no camera club for me..as a loner that just wouldn't work. I just know what ''popular opinion'' would like to dictate, if it could. You might note that few of my landscapes include people, that's by design, not normally by accident. Many thanks for the comment.

Excepting for the bit of large trunk in the upper right hand corner which distracts me, I really like the way you have treated this image. The repeated patterns of the trunks and the colour are very pleasing. Nicely done. :-)
