The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis
I've been saving my photospace (and putting off getting a Pro account) for my 'toons, but UK Vintage at www.flickr.com/photos/42080330@N03/ was kind enough to post three Max Shulman cover's for my viewing pleasure, and I told him that I liked the cover art on the Pocket editions he posted better than the Dedini cartoons on the Bantam editions I grew up with, which isn't really surprising since I'd always like the cover on the Bantam Pathfinder edition of TMLODG better than the Dedini covers on the regular Bantam editions. So, rather than just talk about it, I thought I'd actually post something to see, which, luckily, I could, because just this very day--forced by the necessity of completing my latest cartoon (hopefully to be finished in time for Memorial Day)--I finally broke down and got my daughter to show me how this scanner that's been sitting here for a year-and-a-half works.

Actually, I was referring to your restoration efforts, as opposed to my complete lack of any whatsoever.

I loved the tv show. Bob Denver as Maynard something.....

Maynard G. Krebs. He was my favorite character in the show, and it was kind of a disappointment that he didn't figure as prominently in the stories, where he was just one of several sidekicks/supporting characters.
