Happy New Year 2011

I told a woman I work with I'd get her all the words to "Auld Lang Syne", and I always post them to my Yahoo Anglophile group on New Year's Eve, and Froggyboggler pointed out that I hadn't gotten a Christmas cartoon done (although she politely refrained from pointing out I hadn't gotten ANY cartoons done since August), so I figured I'd kill three birds with one stone (about as close to Scottish thriftiness as an Irishman--or at least this one--cares to get), and work in a tribute to my favorite cigar as well. My only regret is, I couldn't figure out a way to work in a fifth of Chivas Regal. I mean, work one into the picture; I'll be working one in just fine on New Year's Eve (along with one of the two remaining Black Watches from Cadet J--------'s last care package from Texas; eleventy-seven tax-free Indian smoke shops here in The Nations, and the only place I can still find Robt Burns Black Watches is on the internet--at $80 effing dollars a box!!! Be that as it may, I'll "tak' a right gude-willie waught" in your honor, me lads and lassies, and wish you one and all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Thanks, Froggy and Gordo, and, again, all the best for you in the New Year! I doubt I'll ever make it, but a trip to the UK is one of my dreams. As for the cartoons, they DO take a long time to create, but I have to admit they wouldn't take near as long if I wasn't the lazy lout that I am! I'd make a New Year's resolution to work harder, but it would be too much work to keep it.

My Scots-Irish heritage appreciates this cartoon a great deal!
