Garden of Teapots

The four Garden of Teapots designs by Alice (Morrison) Thompson Kiernan.

"In the early to mid-70s, Alice designed for Corning Glass Works. In 1971, Corning introduced the Garden of Teapots with four floral designs (Canterbury, Lancaster, Bantry and Chelsea)."

I'm not sure how the mix-up between Canterbury and Chelsea came about. I always see them listed on ebay with the wrong names, and I actually believed it was correct until yesterday! If someone took the names from this page, I can see the confusion. The teapots are not photographed in the same order that they are listed!

    I know what you mean!
After you mentioned how you thought you had Chelsea but it was Canterbury, I went back and checked the ad and it's out of order from the listing. Very confusing!
That's a great idea labeling each one with the right names!!!
Doesn't someone else at Pyrex Love have the front yellow one, (Lancaster). Was it merebear?

Yes! That's it! And, whoa, you're good, Cindy! You must have a photographic memory or something! LOL!
