Business not as usual

Rains means no earnings for many of the hawkers in the normally crowded Marina beach. Problems are many for them. Protect the meagre investments and merchandise and make sure homes are there when they get back.

Today six people died in the stampede trying to get the aid government was giving.

      Pandiyan - Very impressive.

We get rain like that here in northern Germany on the Dutch border, but 30 minutes later the sun may be shining and the sky a solid blue!

Yes the modern day utilitarian, movable metal and glass partitions will never rival the old suites known as "mahogany row".

Life is change by definition, but almost invariably, the old are critical of the new. Human nature I guess! / Joe

So atmospheric - you've caught the rain so well without obscuring the view. Excellent.

A storytelling shot. That rain is something else -- it looks like it's pelting down at a sharp angle. Excellent work.

A wonderful shot, I can feel the rain! It is a blessing and yet with nature there is a forse that can destroy...

Pandiyan - this is a beautiful image to describe something that's actually quite hard-hitting. It grabs one's attention.
