Mabel

    A new doll made with the new Wee Wonderfuls Kit, Chloe, & Louise pattern (but I'm calling this gal Mabel). I think this is my favorite W.W. pattern yet, and I can't wait to make a couple friends for her!

      She turned out great! I've purchased the pattern, but I haven't started it yet. What type/brand of yarn did you use for the hair?

      hey Micha, thanks! I just scavenged the yarn wrapper from the trash and it's called Wool-Ease by Lion Brand Yarn (from Hobby Lobby) - it's 80% acrylic and 20% lamb's wool. But listen, I'm not a knitter (yet, anyway), so I don't know a thing about yarn - I just had this on hand from another doll project. Good luck with your doll! She's really fun to make!

      Thanks, everyone! The acorn button was in a packet of other little plastic buttons with an Adirondacks theme that I got at Jo-Ann's at some point. They probably still sell them!

      You can still get the button at JoAnn's. It's in an autumn themed pack of buttons now with pumpkins and such.
