We read and then give her some free time before bed. Usually she 'reads' a book to herself, writes, or draws.

Tonight she wanted to draw - so she took the 3 inch tall pile of paper and box of crayons to bed. She drew about five sheets before falling out.

She didn't even twitch when I pulled the paper and crayons off the bed, or even when I turned out the light.
