Finally the secret is revealed! This is a sequence in Corel of the several steps necessary for completion of the final image as seen. Original picture is a single owl, then another is added and old wood is moved to that picture under their feet, then another owl is added, and again more wood is moved, The rest of the pictures show how the wood has been blended in to show as if it's part of a trunk.
Last and final picture has been reworked in Topaz, details added as well as removal of noise and sharpening.
And that's it folks! Piece of cake!! (-:
