Poetry in Motion (drawing in pastel)

Some of you may recognise this guy -it's Wendy U's ex-racehorse Jaguar Hope, drawn from one of her photos:

I just love this horse and couldn't wait to draw him again.

The original is for sale and can currently be seen in the gallery at Artists Corner, 6-7 Beaufort Square, Chepstow, Monmouthshire. NP16 5EP.

The dimensions are as follows:
Image size: 33cm x 50.5cm (13" x 19.5")
Frame size: 53cm x 68.5cm (21" x 27")

The price is £275 (framed)

Signed limited edition prints are now available through my website: £30 unmounted and £38 mounted (before p&p if outside of the UK).

Dimensions for the prints are:
Image: 23.5 cm x 33.5cm
Paper: 29.7cm x 36cm

Thanks Kayla, he was absolutely gorgeous wasn't he? I could never get tired of drawing a horse like that. I can't even imagine what it would be like to have a horse like that in your life. It must have been pretty special though. He followed her everywhere too. So sad.

Thanks Joanna. I guess I did my first small commissions just before I left school and I've done them ever since so I guess that's about 15 years or so. I didn't take it up fulltime until about three years ago though.

I started painting in oils about 5 or 6 years ago but have only started to persue it more seriously in the last 6 months. I've just moved into a studio space and am working on my first portrait commission! I'm hoping to concentrate on portraits and horses but it's early days so I'm not quite sure how things will work out?
