How about that. Thanks everyone. I never thought this cut little phone could generate so much chatter. A pleasant surprise to be sure.

Shadowbox... yes, I work at Veer. Mostly web stuff. Sometimes typography. Always grooviness.

Loungerie... thanks for the pointer. I had yet to stumble across that group. Consider it added.

Elisabeth... we purchased the phone from a place that sells refurbished equipment. I'll see if I can dig up the site for you.

Thank you for the comments jot.de, Kafusha, and sekundo. Much appreciated. Sekundo, the lighting was very simple... a single halogen table lamp bounced off the ceiling.

amazing pic. I wish I had one like that! blogged

    40. splorp (70 months ago | reply)

@jenerally Thanks. Orange and grey are the new black.

@sarahfaur Those Art Thang gewgaws are wonderful. This phone isn’t currently connected to anything right now - people were saying that the microphone created too much static. Since it’s an old carbon-based receiver, sometimes the insides get a bit crufty. I think I’m going to take it home and try to get it back up to scratch. Seems a shame not to be able to use it...

@el roldán I think most everyone on this page does too.

@pencilpusher What are you waiting for? Go get one for yourself.

    42. splorp (69 months ago | reply)

A lot of people want this phone. Me included. I may have to see if I can buy it off my company, considering that it isn’t being used right now.
