MK 48 Torpedo

Old photograph that my dad had from his days working at Westinghouse.

I am considering putting together a photo collage based on the book "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" using existing vintage photographs, as the book does.

This photo shows up just in time as the scene I would like to depict are some cherubs around a topiary having a michelangelo type interaction with a torpedo – one of the most beautifully memorable passages of the World War 2 loop in the book.

Then there is the irony, that in my dad's beautiful handwriting, torpedo is spelled wrong. Pretty scary!
