Solar Pizza Oven
Here is my solar box oven working away at our materials store, Restore Kauai (.org).
We don't have any power on the lot, so the Solar Oven gets used a lot.
This time we cooked a frozen pizza, and some BBQ chicken. The pizza took about 3 hours at 225F to get the dough a little crunchy - after 3 hours it was quite edible, but pizza really preferes to cook at 500F+.
The BBQ chicken came out perfect as usual.

To get it crispy place the pizza on a rack/firebrick, so that the heat can circulate underneath it. Also, for those cloudy days, you may want to place your pot inside a oven bag for higher temperatures. I also add a little sugar in with my marinating sauce, when I cook my meats, so that they turn nice and brown.
I use a Global Sun Oven and just love cooking in it, every chance I get.

With this box oven, I designed it to not get over 225F as that is the slow cooking ceiling.
Breads have a hard time getting crispy at these temperatures, but it was edible. I still use my roasting pans in this oven because I like the moist cooking process, but I can use open pans, sheet trays etc. Plenty of room to feed us guys.
The sun oven is OK, fairly small cooking chamber, and more fun to make your own. This one cost me less than a sun oven and can cook so much more food. Better for my purposes.
How much marging to you get on those things? Happy selling.
