The solar funnel cooker in position for overhead sun
When using the carshade funnel cooker in the horizontal position, you can still cook when the sun is directly overhead.
Just move your cooking vessel to the front, as the focal point has migrated.

Ah, Earthworm saw this too. This reminds me of some photos of people in China who make their own solar cookers with aluminum foil. And apparently it works. Somewhere here in Flickr. Your ideas deserve to be better known.
