For Rose
The other evening I revisited your comments on Indy's obituary, I came across a comment from a long time flickr friend Rose who has mutiple accounts. After Indy's passing she contacted me and shared the news that her beloved dog Summer had experienced heart problems and how she was dreading his passing. Since I hadn't heard any recent news I clicked on her name and viewed her recent post. I was shocked to see a comment from her friend informing her contacts that Rose had passed away.
Rose was a lovely lady with a big soul. I have exchanged many emails over the years and she became a good friend. Because of RSI joint problems she often had to take a rest from the computer but we always caught up and exchanged news and stories when she returned.
Her funeral is to be held today, I have many wonderful friendships through flickr and Indy has attracted so many great souls into my life, I am very sad to lose a friend but I hope she finally meets Indy and gives him a big hug from me. Summer is well and staying with her next door neighbour.

OMGosh that is terrible!!!! What a wonderful friend that let her "Flickr Family" know though... RIP Rose... She will be with Indy now... You are in my thoughts Mike...

Ahhh, Mike. I'm so sad to hear this news of Rose. I didn't know her as a Flickr contact but I'm sure she was a good person if she was a friend of yours. God Bless Her.
