Puppy Girl Jess: 2002 - 16th February 2012
My first sight of Jess in 2002 through her backyard fence. Indy and I soon became lifelong pals with her and have been ever since. Unfortunately Jess passed away suddenly due to an infection in her pancreas on Thursday evening the 16th of February. I adored her. I was lucky enough to have Jess as my house guest on a couple of occasions last year when her owners Dave and Beryl went on holiday. I loved having her and she got on well with Indy even though she bossed him [and me] terribly. She would literally thump me if she wanted my attention and when I called her a pretty girl her tail would start wagging furiously. I’m going to miss her terribly but Indy has another friend to play with at Rainbow Bridge along with Scamp, Rob, Ellie, Dan, Holly, Megan and too many others, She was part of a golden generation of dogs in Llanfairfechan who all grew up together and are now sadly leaving us. Dave and Beryl are terribly sad and shocked as are all who loved her

I am so sorry, Mike. That's really cool that all of those dogs grew up together though. Not every dog is able to have that (my dog -- she's the family dog -- doesn't), and I think it's really something that a dog SHOULD have. I'm sure they're all playing together now in a beautiful place, reunited.

I know how hard this is to loose our friends.....and sometimes it is like a landslide of losses...
same goes with people..i know last year was a year of so much loss in my life...
I am glad you had a long friendship with this lovely Jess.....

............ a sad loss for us "mere mortals" ............... and now she runs free with her pack. She will be meeting and running with two new friends, Mike ------- my Bluenose Molly and Miss Tippy. I am so sorry you have lost yet another friend Mike... but knowing that the "gang" will all be re-united at Rainbow Bridge brings some relief... and perhaps in time there will be a new generation of pups that can all grow up together.... (((BIG HUGS)))

Awwww, such a sweet baby. Very sorry for her family... I'm afraid I will be facing that this year, probably sooner than I would like. My oldest cocker is 13 1/2 and he is not doing so good. He has good days and bad days....

Very sad news, Mike. I'm sorry. Again, celebrate the fact that these beautiful dogs all had such excellent lives and the stomach-wrenching pain of loss is a price worth paying for the love they gave us and we gave them.
