LOL, gerbil feet. I really want to have
gerbils next time (I have rats now). From
your photos it seems they are much like rats
in interacting with their humans and getting
into adorable trouble. Do they like to be
petted and cuddled when they get older, as
rats often do?
to be honest mine aren't very cuddly. they
aren't at all nervous and they will come up
to me when i open their cage and will happily
crawl all over me but they very rarely will
sit still in my hand or lap or anything. my
boyfriend tells me the gerbils he had when he
was younger would let you cuddle them though
so i guess it depends on the individual
personality. i would still recommend them
though, they are funny little creatures and
make me laugh all the time!
Sounds like rats! :D Some are cuddly but most
aren't, at least not until they get to be
old, then they sometimes just want to be left
alone in their beds while you scritch their
head, but no cuddles. Grumpy, lol.
