Dead Milk Churn
As a young boy travelling through my home County of Yorkshire I remember seeing hundreds of these aluminium milk churns standing waiting for collection by the Milk marketing board wagons, The farm I used to spend my summer holidays on as a boy had there own cattle and the milk came fresh from the milking shed in a jug still warm! I wouldn t drink it because it wasn t in a bottle so unknown to me my parents poured the same milk into a milk bottle which I would gladly drink!!!
