This photo was taken during a recent snowboarding trip to Utah. What you see is the area between the resorts Solitude and Brighton in the Big Cottonwood Canyons. We hiked a lot in thigh deep snow that day, but it was well worth it. Eating lunch near that spot was absolutely amazing. I will never forget this trip.
Btw, my Olympus (not so) Tough broke, so I took this photo using my cell phone. Does anybody have a recommendation on a rugged camera? I'm thinking of either the Lumix TS3 or the Nikon AW100 or the Sony TX-10.

This photo was taken from the top of Whiteface mountain in NY. The other peak that you see in the photo is the Little Whiteface Peak, which stands 3676' above sea level. I like Whiteface because it has a big vertical, so snowboarding from top to bottom takes some time. I don't like Whiteface because it's pretty icy.. Hopefully I'll have a chance to ride the Slides at some point!

This tree is unfortunate enough to be right across the snow guns.. Life is tough for some of the trees :)

Another great weekend of snowboarding with friends! Too bad the weather has been horrible (for snow enthusiasts) so far, and conditions are sub-par. No matter what, I'd rather be on the mountain than wathcing TV :)
